Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Wymatch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Description of Service

Wymatch is a platform designed for padel and pickleball communities to organize matches, manage group sessions, track player ratings, and facilitate match-making. The Service provides tools for session scheduling, player sign-ups, automated match generation, and rating calculations.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding the password used to access the Service
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity, or a name that is subject to rights of another person without appropriate authorization.

User Responsibilities

As a user of Wymatch, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your playing ability
• Honor your sign-ups for sessions and notify the group if you cannot attend
• Report match results accurately and honestly
• Treat other users with respect both online and during in-person sessions
• Not manipulate ratings or match results
• Not share group invite links publicly without group admin permission

Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Circumvent or attempt to bypass any security measure, including CSRF protections, authentication systems, or rate limits
• Use automated scripts to collect information or interact with the Service
• Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

Group Administration

Group administrators have additional responsibilities and powers, including:

• Managing group membership and removing members
• Creating and managing sessions
• Adjusting player ratings when appropriate
• Setting group rules and expectations

Group administrators are responsible for ensuring their group operates in accordance with these Terms. We reserve the right to remove administrators or groups that violate these Terms.

User-Generated Content

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, such as group descriptions, session details, and player names. You are responsible for the content you post.

By posting content to the Service, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You retain any and all rights to content you submit.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Wymatch. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or delete your account through the settings page.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Wymatch, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Any injuries or damages arising from in-person activities organized through the Service

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Wymatch does not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location, or that any defects or errors will be corrected.

Physical Activities Disclaimer

Wymatch is a platform for organizing sports activities. Participation in padel, pickleball, or any physical activity involves inherent risks of injury. By using the Service to organize or participate in activities, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Wymatch is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during in-person activities.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wymatch operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede any prior agreements.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
